SHAREDBOOK AND MASHABLE'S KRISTEN NICOLE INTRODUCE
COCKTAIL RECIPE BOOK – PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT IDEALIST
Individuals Can Now Submit Their Favorite Drink Recipes to the
Techtini Pocket Guide, Which Can Be Personalized and Printed On Demand
NEW YORK and CHICAGO – May 29, 2008 – SharedBook Inc., the Reverse Publishing Platform provider, and Kristen Nicole of Mashable.com, introduced the Techtini Pocket Guide today at the first TECH cocktail Conference. The Techtini Pocket Guide is a collaborative on-demand book making project designed to showcase individuals and companies within the Web community.
Proceeds from Techtini Pocket Guide sales will benefit Idealist, a project of Action Without Borders. Idealist is an interactive site that facilitates connections between people and organizations that are interested in improving their communities.
There are two ways to participate in the Techtini Pocket Guide project. Individuals can contribute a favorite drink recipe and upload a photograph or logo to appear beside the ingredients. There is also space to include a story about the drink and information regarding a business if desired.
"Today's Web culture is all about sharing and collaboration," said Kristen Nicole, Senior Writer and Field Editor, Mashable.com. "The Techtini Pocket Guide is meant to be a fun way for companies in the Web community to express themselves and share their concept with the rest of the world."
The Techtini Pocket Guide is also available for sale. The initial book contains 35 recipes collected from companies around the world. Individuals can go to http://techtini.sharedbook.com to see a current list of recipes and how to personalize and publish their own guide.
