- SharedDoc Expands License with Foundation to Include Additional Content and Discussion Feeds, Bringing Together 300-plus Energy Experts and More than 25 Partner Organizations -

NEW YORK, August 10, 2010 - SharedBook Inc., a provider of content transformation technologies for consumers, online publishers and enterprises, today announced that its client, Our Energy Policy Foundation, has expanded its program and online dialogue centered around national energy policies by adding new content and discussion points to facilitate conversation among 300-plus energy experts and 25 partner organizations. Using SharedBook's SharedDoc platform for real-time, collective document feedback, the non-partisan is uniting scientists, legislators, energy companies and environmental organizations to attract diverse perspectives and shed light on the need for better-informed and more effective U.S. energy policies.

"Issues related to global warming and energy security simply can't be swept under the rug, which is why remains committed to continuing conversation and providing ongoing input into the development of U.S. energy policy," said Bill Squadron, president, "This expanded discussion will serve as a resource to these policymakers, the media and the nation as we continue efforts to tap the collective intelligence of our 300-plus expert community in order to address issues such as climate change, dependence on foreign oil and alternative fuels."

First introduced in late 2009, SharedDoc facilitates collaborative document discussion. The platform enables small- and medium-sized businesses, government organizations and non-profits to share ideas while engaging a community in an effort to gather feedback and spur conversation. SharedDoc's ability to scale and facilitate collaboration enables its users to continuously add content and increase participation.

"This is huge. We've enabled Our Energy Policy Foundation to create a private community where invite-only members can conduct real-time discussions around specific, shared content, yet open for the world to read. Even more, it's tested and proven that our platform is up to the complex challenge of consistently adding content and gathering feedback," said Caroline Vanderlip, CEO of SharedDoc. "There's something to be said for this move toward collective intelligence in regards to national policies. The ability to engage a specific group of people and efficiently leverage their opinion in a collaborative environment speaks to a more inclusive, intelligent decision making process for government and businesses alike."
