SharedBook Technology Platform and Leading XML Server Partner to Provide Solutions That Create Immediate Revenue Opportunities
NEW YORK – March 23, 2009 – SharedBook Inc., the custom publishing enabler, and Mark Logic Corporation, provider of the industry's leading XML server, have entered into a strategic partnership in which SharedBook's front end can provide ways to immediately monetize the XML content provided by MarkLogic Server.
The agreement will permit the companies to bring a combination of enhanced services to market that will allow publishers and content owners a means to manage their existing assets while rapidly deploying new revenue generating products.
The SharedBook custom publishing platform will offer new and existing Mark Logic customers a ready-made bolt for SaaS solutions, enabling content re-use, reassembly and the creation of new derivative works from assets in MarkLogic Server using SharedBook's content connectors.
